Our Department of Social & Policy Sciences Applicant Visit Days will take place between February to April 2024. You can attend these on-campus and virtual events if you're an offer-holder for one of these courses:

Our Applicant Visit Days are just for offer holders, and will give you a real insight into what it's like to study at the University. You will meet current students and members of staff from the Department and have the chance to ask all the questions you need to make your decision. 

Travelling to campus

There are many different ways to travel to our University of Bath campus. Find out more about travelling to our campus.

Parking permit

We recommend that anyone travelling to our campus by car uses our East Car Park and displays a free parking permit.

Parking permits for your AVD are available to download. Please note that this does not guarantee a space for parking.

Virtual events will take place live via Microsoft Teams.

1pm 1.30pm Welcome to the day with Dr Michael Bloomfield - An introduction to the department
1.30pm 2.10pm Placements talk – with student experiences. An introduction to placements
2.10pm 3.10pm Taster Lecture 1 with Q/A – Liz Kullmann, Criminology Admissions Tutor. With course content and question time at end (with current student questions at the end of the session)
2.10pm 3.10pm Taster Lecture 2 with Q/A – Dr Touseef Mir, International Development with Economics Admission Tutor. With course content and question time at end (with current student questions at the end of the session).
2.10pm 3.10pm Taster Lecture 3 With Q/A – Dr Diana Teggi, Social Policy degrees Admissions Tutor. With course content and question time at end (with current student questions at the end of the session).
3.10pm Event closes – campus tours if required
