Occupations, industries and skills

Architecture graduates typically enter the architecture sector, developing expertise in controlling, composing and constructing internal spaces and external forms. They possess strong collaborative and communication abilities, coupled with creative and design skills. Their knowledge of sustainable principles and innovative materials creates opportunities in planning, sustainability and consultancy, alongside traditional architectural roles.

Industries

Most Architecture graduates work in practices ranging from prestigious firms to specialist partnerships. Some join large consultancies on major design-and-build projects. Others pursue careers in design-related fields such as filmmaking or museum curation, while some work in planning or conservation.

Occupations

Job titles can vary by firm size. Some reflect pre-accreditation status, such as Architectural Assistant, while others, particularly in larger organisations, reflect project management capabilities.
