Prepare your lab coats for collection

All lab coats must have the owner's name and department visible on an approved University of Bath clothing label. This should be sewn inside the collar and marked using a laundry marker pen.

If lab coats are not marked correctly, we cannot guarantee their return. We will not be liable for the cost of lost items.

We stock both clothing labels and marker pens at Central Stores. Use product number:

• 3038061 for laundry marker pens
  
• 3038003 for laundry clothing labels in packs of 10

Remove all objects from coat pockets before sending them to be cleaned. Put your coats in a transparent bag and label it with the name of your department and the number of coats.

Request lab coat cleaning

You can request lab coat laundering through Agresso.

When you've requested laundering, ask your building porter to take the coats to a designated collection point.

After clearing

When they're cleaned, Central Stores will return the laundry to your porter to return to you.
