The survey

The Be Well Survey is an internal anonymous survey run jointly between the University of Bath and the Students’ Union (SU) and is sent to all students.

Previous students gave their feedback in the Be Well Survey which has shaped your experience of support at the University. You can do the same for future students by being honest about what is good and what could be improved.

When you can complete the Be Well Survey

The Be Well Survey is open in Semester 1 every academic year.

All students are eligible to participate in the Be Well Survey 2024. You can still take part if you have never accessed student support.

The 2024 survey opens on Monday 21 October and closes at 23:59 on Sunday 10 November 2024.

Questions asked

The Be Well Survey asks a variety of questions about mental health and wellbeing.

You can see the questions asked in the Be Well Survey. They include:

  • your life at the moment
  • your wellbeing
  • your mental health
  • university student support
  • two free-text comment questions

Giving constructive feedback

Giving constructive and detailed feedback in the open comments is most helpful for staff to make changes and improvements. You may recognise the characteristics of constructive feedback from the feedback you receive on your own academic work:

  • honest
  • specific
  • respectful
  • solution-focused
  • includes the good and the bad
  • how to do better next time

Although your responses are anonymous, your comments must be in line with the University's Dignity & Respect Policy and Procedure. Offensive or discriminatory comments will be investigated.
