Health and Wellbeing MRes Welcome Week timetable

During Welcome Week 2025 you must attend department and central Welcome Week events which will help you settle into University life.


Timetable

Arrivals Weekend is from Friday 19 September to Sunday 21 September 2025.

Welcome Week runs from Monday 22 September to Friday 26 September 2025.

University Life

You must attend a University Life session taking place over arrivals weekend. Find your University Life time slot. It’s important that you attend this.

Wednesday 24 September

11.15am 12.05pm Founders' Hall The SU Sports Day: Use this free time to meet the sports clubs and teams and find out how to join. This is an optional activity.
12.15pm 1.05pm Chancellors' Building 4.16 MRes Welcome Talk
1.05pm 3.05pm Chancellors' Building 4.1 MRes Programmes Lunch
3pm 4pm The Plug, SU MRes Mixer (with refreshments) co-hosted by SU
4.15pm 5.05pm Claverton Rooms PGT Buddy Scheme Welcome Event (opt-in). Sign-up via the link in your welcome email

Friday 26 September

10am 3pm Founders hall The SU Freshers Fair: Use this free time to explore what's on offer at the University and in Bath and pick up some freebies. This is an optional activity.

Please check this page regularly as sometimes we need to change the times and locations of Welcome events. During Welcome, we would recommend you check your timetable at the start of each day.

Occasionally, there may be a scheduling clash between your departmental activities and The SU events during Freshers' Week. However, many SU events are repeated or run over several days, giving you the flexibility to attend at a different time.

The Students' Union also runs optional Freshers' Week activities you might be interested in.
