Careers organise a range of presentations and workshops delivered by a wide variety of employers and Careers staff. Events are open to all students.
These events are grouped into four categories, which reflect the different stages of your career thinking:
Discover
Learn about different industries and emerging trends. Meet and network with leading employers. Explore your options and start thinking about the career that's right for you.
Focus
Narrow down your options. Build the skills and experience you need to achieve your next steps. Connect with employers you'd like to work for.
Act
Get the practical skills needed to make your career plans a reality. Our talks and workshops will help you succeed at each stage of the application and selection process.
Ready
Prepare for life after graduation. Get practical tools and advice to help you succeed, maintain your wellbeing and find fulfilment in your future career.
Book your place on events
You can view all our events and book places in MyFuture (log-in required).
Use the 'Type of Event' filter to find events by category:
- Discover
- Focus
- Act
- Ready
- Careers Fairs
A category only appears if an event of that type is open for booking.
We may cancel an event if not enough people sign up.
Careers Fairs
Connect with top employers and explore career opportunities at one of our careers fairs. We host several fairs throughout the year.
