We can offer tailored careers advice to support you in thinking about your future, making the most of your newly developed skills and leadership behaviours. You can access all resources, including recording of webinars, information pages on career development strategies and LinkedIn advice on our portal, MyFuture. We have sets of resources that might be specifically useful for degree apprenticeship students:

- Get started: Postgraduate taught (Master’s) students guide. This guide has relevant advice and resources for students with more than two years full-time work experience, also called experienced hires (EH).

Degree apprenticeship students can benefit from 1:1 support from Careers Consultants and Applications Advisers through our range of appointments. A one-to-one appointment with a Careers Consultant could be very helpful to clarify your thinking and develop a plan of action to achieve your goals. We can help you with your career development strategy, job search approaches and anything else career-related. Appointments are available Monday to Friday including lunchtimes and evenings slots to allow for accessibility during the working hours of degree apprenticeship students.
Longer 45-minute Careers Guidance appointments are also available for degree apprenticeship students. These are available by referral only - for example, from a 20-minute Careers Appointment.
Appointments take place in person and remotely. You can choose between a telephone call, Teams call or an in-person appointment.
We run regular skill events and host sector-based, employer and panel events on campus or virtually. We have recording of these events and bite-size webinars on recruitment skills available 24/7. You can find out what is coming up, book your place and find recordings in MyFuture.
