BA Modern Languages Welcome Week timetable

During Welcome Week 2023 you must attend department and central Welcome Week events which will help you settle into University life.


Timetable

Arrivals Weekend is from Friday 22 September to Sunday 24 September 2023.

Welcome Week runs from Monday 25 September to Friday 29 September 2023.

University Life

You must attend a University Life session taking place over arrivals weekend. Find your University Life time slot. It’s important that you attend this.

11:30am 11:45am Chancellors' Building 4.1 Head of Department Welcome to Modern Languages students
11:45am 12:30pm Chancellors' Building 4.1 Director of Studies Welcome and key information-giving session
12:30pm 12:45pm Chancellors' Building 4.1 Introduction to the Library by Faculty Librarian, Katrin Roberts
12:45pm 1pm Chancellors' Building 4.1 Peer Assisted Learning Leaders introduce PAL and Peer Mentoring, followed by campus trail and refreshments.
1pm 2:15pm Trail/Lime Tree Campus trail in groups with mentors. £5 voucher to spend in Lime Tree (13.45 onwards)

Tuesday 26 September

2.05pm 3pm The Parade The SU Sports Day: Use this free time to meet the sports clubs and teams and find out how to join. This is an optional activity.

11am 12pm (midday) Founders Hall The SU Freshers Fair: Use this free time to explore what's on offer at the University and in Bath and pick up some freebies. This is an optional activity.

The Students' Union also runs optional Freshers' Week activities you might be interested in.
