Criminology MSc Welcome Week timetable

During Welcome Week 2024 you must attend department and central Welcome Week events which will help you settle into University life.


Timetable

Arrivals Weekend is from Friday 20 September to Sunday 22 September 2024.

Welcome Week runs from Monday 23 September to Friday 27 September 2024.

University Life

You must attend a University Life session taking place over arrivals weekend. Find your University Life time slot. It’s important that you attend this.

9.15am 10.05am 3 Easy Foyer MSc Criminology Welcome (Tea and Coffee Provided)
10.15am 12.05pm Chancellors' Building 3.11 MSc Criminology Programme introduction with Director of Studies Jack Spicer
12.15pm 1.05pm Chancellors' Building 5.5 Buffet Lunch (Joined by Criminology staff)
2.15pm 4.05pm Chancellors' Building 5.5 Guest Speaker and/or Group Activity (Joined by Criminology staff)

Wednesday 25 September

11.15am 12.05pm The Parade The SU Sports Day: Use this free time to meet the sports clubs and teams and find out how to join. This is an optional activity.

Thursday 26 September

10.15am 11.05am East Building 0.7 Library and Catalogue Demonstration with Peter Bradley, Subject Librarian. (For MSc ID, MSc Criminology and MRes students)
11.15am 12.05pm 3 East 2.2 Careers session - Hannah Kirby (For MSc ID and MSc Criminology students)
12.15pm 1.05pm Online on Zoom NeverOK: Understand the community of the University of Bath, and how you can be an active bystander and promote equality.
2.15pm 3.05pm The Parade The SU Groups Day: Find out about all of the Student groups on offer and how to get involved. This is an optional activity
4.15pm 5.05pm 10 West 2.47 SPS PGT buddy welcome event

Friday 27 September

Start Finish Location Description
10.15am 11.05am Founders' Hall The SU Freshers Fair: Use this free time to explore what's on offer at the University and in Bath and pick up some freebies. This is an optional activity.

Freshers' Week

The Students' Union also runs optional Freshers' Week activities you might be interested in.
