How to apply

Once you have a firm offer from the University, you can register to use the accommodation application portal.

It can take up to 48 hours to access our registration system.

Before you register you must:

Once you have registered to apply for accommodation, it can take up to an hour for the system to update, so you are able to log in and make your application.

If you are an undergraduate student you will need to pick seven accommodation types you would like to live in. If you are an overseas postgraduate student you will need to select three accommodation types. You will need to rank them in your order of preference from highest to lowest. We recommend selecting more than one room type.

Please be aware that all the accommodation we have available is on the application pathway. You are unable to apply other accommodation buildings as these are not available.

If you have a disability or diagnosed medical condition that we need to consider when allocating your room, you must complete an additional requirements form and provide some supporting information.

How we allocate accommodation

Whilst we cannot guarantee a room in University accommodation for waiting list applications we make every effort to place you in our accommodation. This could be an offer of a temporary shared accommodation so that you are able to attend the University whilst we work with you to find a suitable permanent room.

If you are allocated accommodation, you will receive an email inviting you to login to the Accommodation Portal to view and accept your allocation. The email confirm the date by which you need to accept or decline your offer. The deadline is usually within four days of your offer date.
