About this accommodation
The Quads is a complex of five buildings, each with shared flats for eight to ten people. It is home to 708 first year undergraduates.
Living here means you'll have Eat and Drink credit to spend on food and drink in any University-run places to eat, to save you always having to cook meals.
It is on the east side of campus, a five-minute walk to the Library and Students' Union.
The accommodation is located next to the popular lime tree food court, which serves a varied menu all day.
To make you feel safe and at home, The Quads has a secure living environment, with swipe card access to the buildings, flats and bedrooms. There's also secure bike storage.
Each kitchen in Quads includes a washing machine for your household to use. You can also use the [launderette] facilities (/guides/using-the-laundry/) located between Acer and Bay blocks.
You'll have your own en-suite shower, toilet and sink, mood lighting in your bedroom and use of a communal social space.
The Quads featured in the 2017 top 50 student accommodation halls in the UK by Times Higher Education, as well as being listed in StudentCrowd's Best UK Student Accommodation Awards 2019.
All of our University accommodation is smoke free.
