The Quads student accommodation

The Quads is part-catered, contemporary accommodation for first year undergraduates and pre-sessional English students in the summer, on the east of campus.

About this accommodation

The Quads is a part-catered complex of five buildings, each with shared flats for eight to ten people. It is home to 708 first year undergraduates.

It is on the east side of campus, a five-minute walk to the Library and Students' Union.

Living here means you'll have Eat and Drink credit to spend on food and drink in any University-run places to eat, to save you always having to cook meals.

The accommodation is located next to the popular lime tree food court, which serves a varied menu all day.

To make you feel safe and at home, The Quads has a secure living environment, with swipe card access to the buildings, flats and bedrooms. There's also secure bike storage.

The nearest launderette is located between Acer and Bay blocks, so you don't have to walk far to wash your clothes.

You'll have your own en-suite shower, toilet and sink, mood lighting in your bedroom and use of a communal social space.

The Quads featured in the 2017 top 50 student accommodation halls in the UK by Times Higher Education.

All of our University accommodation is smoke free.
