As well as university managed accommodation, we also have partnerships with Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) providers. If you apply to live in PBSA accommodation you make your application via the accommodation portal. Your tenancy agreement is then with the third part provider.
You still have access to the University services, including student support and security.
Centurion House
Host students manage Centurion House.
The contract length is 51 weeks from Saturday 13 September 2025 until 05 September 2026.
If allocated into Centurion House you will need to log on to your accommodation portal. You will need to view and accept the offer and pay your Advanced Rent Payment of £500. We will then send your details to the management team at Centurion House. By accepting this offer you agree to our terms and conditions. Once you have accepted, the Centurion House team will contact you about your accommodation and arrival information. The Centurion House team can be contacted via email
The Brook
This is Fresh manage The Brook.
The contract length is 51 weeks, from Saturday 20 September 2025 until Saturday 12 September 2026.
If allocated into The Brook, we will send your contact details on to the management company. They will contact you about signing your tenancy agreement. You will need to pay £150 advanced rent payment to This is Fresh on accepting your offer.
If you do not sign your tenancy agreement by the deadline provided, we will cancel your offer and make the room available again.
Guarantor
If you choose to live in one of our Nomination accommodation and wish to pay in instalments, you must have a UK based guarantor. This is someone who will be responsible for paying your rent if you fall into debt whilst living here.
Your guarantor must live and work in the UK on a permanent basis. If you cannot provide a guarantor you can choose from two other options:
- use a guarantor service like Housing Hand
- pay the full rental fee up front at the start of the contract
