Student Ambassadors

Student Ambassadors carry out a range of outreach activities, and can share their experiences of applying to and studying at university with your students.

Who are our Ambassadors?

Our Student Ambassadors are currently University of Bath students who support the Widening Participation and Student Recruitment activities across the University. Our Ambassadors are from a mix of backgrounds and areas of the country and the world. They represent all the courses we offer at Bath as well as the diversity of our student body. Where we can, we try to have a mix of ambassadors working on events with different student's bringing different experiences and view points to enrich conversations during events.

The Role

Many of the outreach activities and campus events organised by the Widening Participation and Student Recruitment teams are delivered or supported by our excellent team of Student Ambassadors.

Our Student Ambassador Scheme is open to all current undergraduate students at Bath, and offers students the opportunity to work in a paid role where they can speak to prospective students about their experiences of university life and study, as well as how to make a competitive university application.

All of our Student Ambassadors receive comprehensive training and have experience of delivering a wide range of events to different groups of students. Most of our Ambassadors also hold DBS certificates and have all undertaken safeguarding training.

Hear from our ambassadors

Our student ambassadors support most of our events either working with individuals or school/college groups and there are always lots of opportunities to hear from them. Our open days are also a great way to speak to students who can give you a great insight into life at university.
