Esther Parkin residence accommodation

Esther Parkin is located on the north side of our Claverton Down campus.

Esther Parkin is located close to the centre of campus, amongst some of the student accommodation. It is close to many of the main teaching spaces and campus amenities, like the cafes, shops and banks.

To make you feel safe and at home, Esther Parkin has a secure living environment, with secure key access to the building. There is an open play area for children, who must be supervised.

You can apply for an accommodation in Esther Parkin if you are:

  • a visiting Academic looking for short-term accommodation (6 months or less)
  • a David Parkin visiting professorship looking for family or individual accommodation
  • an overseas student looking for family accommodation for the duration of their course

We also have more studio apartments suitable for visiting academics available in The Lodge and Eveleigh Waterside accommodation in the city centre.

For non student bookings VAT will be charged on top of the room rate for the first 28 nights.

All of our University accommodation is smoke free.

Please note: The recently refurbished ground floor is used by our Student Union societies for meetings and social events. Any events will be finished by 10pm and the consumption of alcohol is prohibited.
