Forced migration student experiences at Bath - Student Support

Students from forced migration backgrounds share information about teams and web pages they’ve found helpful, including videos with people who are here to help.

This page is our experiences of student support. Explore our stories of student life.

What are these pages all about?

Everyone's experiences are shaped by their cultures and backgrounds. As individuals, we are multifaceted. Some aspects of our identity can be best understood by those who can relate. The University of Bath has a vibrant community, of students from a diverse range of backgrounds, and we're keen to celebrate this.

The content on our Student Experience pages has been created by current Bath students, for potential students. We have collected stories, experiences and information from across the University and brought it together here to make our voices heard, connect with others, and create community.

On this page, we’ve also brought together information about the teams and web pages we’ve found helpful on our journeys, to make it easy for you to find, and added video interviews to help you get to know the people who are here to help..

Student Support

Most of the time, we’re focused on showing you the best bits of life at Uni, but honesty is important, and sometimes we all need a little help. At Bath, we have a number of dedicated teams who work to support students through the highs and the lows of University life.

There can be times when we're unsure of how to navigate situations. That’s when things can become stressful and confusing. Advice and support teams here at Bath listen and respond to your needs. Explore the sections below to learn more about the different teams, and watch the videos of them being interviewed by placement student, John.
