This event is hosted by Centre for Smart Warehousing and Logistics Systems, in collaboration with the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, and will explore the impact of digital technology on logistics.
The first seminar will take place on February 22 at 14:45 via Zoom, and will introduce the concept of SMART Logistics and the broad themes, opportunities and challenges that it presents. Prof John Manners-Bell FCILT is Visiting Professor at the Guildhall School of Business & Law, London Metropolitan University and CEO of Ti-Insight a leading supplier of market research to the global logistics industry.
Ken Lyon is Chairman of Virtual Partners who specialize in the use of advanced information systems to manage 3PL and 4PL operations and their trading networks.
Together they are the authors of The Logistics and Supply Chain Innovation Handbook Disruptive Technologies and New Business Models printed by Kogan Page.
