Check you are eligible for student accommodation for semester two
You can apply for University managed accommodation if you have a firm offer from us and any of these are true:
- you are a returning undergraduate student
- you will be a new MA Contemporary European Studies (Euromasters) student
- you will be an overseas postgraduate
- you will be a home postgraduate
- you have specific medical conditions or disability
- you are a care leaver, estranged student or refugee
- you are an asylum seeker in receipt of a Sanctuary Scholarship
- you are an exchange or visiting student nominated for student accommodation by the International Mobility team
When to apply
You can register on our accommodation system now.
You must be registered to apply for accommodation.
Due to a system error the applications for semester two accommodation will now open 13 November 2024. Please contact us at reslife@bath.ac.uk.
Students will receive room allocations from 01 December 2024. From this date, room allocations will be sent by email each Wednesday. Please read the Room Allocations procedure for more information.
Applying for accommodation outside the standard semester dates
If you require accommodation before the start of Semester 2, contact the ResLife team to check the availability.
How to apply
Registration
You can register for accommodation now.
Application
You can apply for accommodation from 9am Wednesday 13 November 2024.
As part of your application, you need to pick the type of accommodation you would like to live in.
Exchange and Euromaster students
You can apply for accommodation in Aquila Court and Pulteney Court.
We can only offer a limited number of Erasmus+, exchange and visiting students a place in University accommodation. You will need to first contact the relevant department prior to applying for accommodation.
Postgraduate students
Accommodation is subject to availability and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
We have a variety of accommodation and room types predominately in our city accommodation.
Undergraduate students
Accommodation is subject to availability and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
We may also offer you a room in one of our university managed accommodation buildings, this is subject to availability.
If you have a disability or a diagnosed medical condition you need to let us know in your accommodation application.

Contract dates
University accommodation contracts start on Thursday 30 January 2025. If you require accommodation prior to this date please contact us reslife@bath.ac.uk to discuss availability.
