All doctoral researchers are invited to sign up to give a short 10 minute presentation as part of the Doctoral Festival of Ideas. As a thank you, we will give you a £25 Amazon voucher for presenting at the Festival.
PGR Presentation sessions will take place throughout the festival programme and will be an opportunity for you to share you research with a wider audience. If you would like to contribute as a presenter then please read this guidance and submit an expression of interest form.

Format of the talks
Presentations will take place during parallel sessions throughout the conference. They will be grouped together based on discipline area and there will be 3 presentations per session.
Presentations should be no more than 10 minutes and there will be an opportunity for a short Q&A following the presentation.
Presentations will be open for all to attend, therefore you should try to make sure your talk will be understandable for a general audience.
Taking part
In order to present at the Doctoral Festival of Ideas, you will need to submit a short expression of interest form by Sunday 14 April 2024 23:59. You will need to provide a short abstract about your research and a title for your presentation.
Talks are scheduled to take place in-person on Monday 24 June 2024 between 14:00 and 16:30 and Tuesday 25 June 2024 between 09:30 and 12:00. You will be allocated a timeslot within one of these periods. If you are on a professional doctorate programme or are based overseas, then we still encourage you to take part as there will be opportunities for you to present remotely.
