We were delighted to welcome the EURAM community to campus for a week of stimulating discussion and debate centering on how management research can tackle the grand challenges facing society.
In the wake of the global pandemic, military conflict, and new shockwaves and disruptions, issues such as our ageing society, achieving clean growth and the ethical dilemmas posed by big data feel more urgent than ever before.
Organisations, key stakeholders and governments will need to work closely to develop innovative solutions to very complex problems. This requires developing incentives to invest in, develop and diffuse both traditional and emerging forms of innovation – including new business models and social innovation.
