In 2022 we welcomed over 800 students from India1 and we have over 1,800 Indian alumni. Our first Indian alumnus was among the first class to graduate from the University in 1966. Join a community made up of over 150 nationalities from all around the world.

If English isn't your first language, you'll need to meet the English language requirements for your course before you can start studying.

Our Pre-sessional programme will help you improve your English and academic skills, prepare you for postgraduate study, and help you settle into Bath before your studies begin.

Living in Bath


Surrounded by the beautiful countryside of the South West of England, Bath is a vibrant, friendly city with a rich history.

Our campus is close to the city where there's plenty to see and do, including famous tourist attractions, varied shops and venues, and cultural festivals throughout the year.

Bath is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, both as one of the Great Spas of Europe and for its Roman heritage and Georgian architecture.

The city is also home to global businesses and start-up companies, so you can find work while you study and when you graduate.

Going beyond Bath, trains take about 15 minutes2 to Bristol and one hour and 25 minutes3 to London.
