Get involved as a contributor

Poster competition

Doctoral students can submit a poster as part of the Festival of Ideas. Posters will be displayed throughout the Festival and will be entered into a poster competition. We have three categories: PhD Pre-confirmation, PhD Post-confirmation and Professional Doctorate with opportunities to win a £150 training and development grant.

If you would like to submit a poster then you will need to submit an intention to submit a poster form by Sunday 28 April 2024.

PGR Student Talks

Doctoral students are invited to present at the upcoming Festival of Ideas. Presentations should be 10 minutes maximum with a Q&A following. Students presenting will be given a £25 Amazon voucher as a thank you for taking part. The presentations will be open to all doctoral students and staff at the University.

If you would like to give a talk, then you will need to complete an expression of interest form by Sunday 14th April 2024 .
