When to use the Course search component
Use the Course search to add a search bar to the top of a Topic page.
Only use the Course search component if:
- the content on your Topic page is for prospective undergraduate or postgraduate students
- it makes sense for users to search for courses when they visit that page
For example, we use the Course search component on the page, 'Taught postgraduate study' because the page is for prospective postgraduate students who are interested in finding out about our courses.
We don't use the Course search component on the 'Visas' page because prospective students looking at this are not thinking about courses at this point in their user journey.
