Local counselling services

In addition to our Counselling and Mental Health service, there are many local counselling and therapy services you can access.

Bath Centre for Psychotherapy & Counselling

Bath Centre for Psychotherapy & Counselling provides a referral service for BCPC-trained psychotherapists and counsellors and offers a range of fees to suit different budgets.

You can find a counsellor or psychotherapist in your local area on their website.

Wessex Counselling Service

Wessex Counselling Service offers psychodynamic counselling, focusing on how early experiences in life affect us as adults. They have a range of fees based on income and have consultation rooms in Bath, Bristol and Frome.

Womankind (Bristol)

Womankind offers free or affordable counselling and psychotherapy for women in the Bristol area. They have helplines for women in distress or suffering domestic abuse and hold psychotherapy groups on specific issues.
