The group meets monthly on campus, in a private and safe space with access to gender-neutral toilets. The space also has a separate accessible entrance (via library card access). If you require use of the accessible entrance or have any other accessibility needs, please let us know in advance so we can make arrangements.
To protect attendees’ privacy, the time and location will only be shared with students who have agreed to the group’s confidentiality guidelines.
The group offers a relaxed, confidential space where you can:
- meet other LGBTQ+ and questioning students
- share experiences (only if you want to)
- feel heard and accepted
- build confidence in your identity, at your own pace
You do not need to be ‘out’ or have a label for your identity to attend. There is no expectation to share personal information - just bring yourself, as you are.
We recognise that:
- coming out is a personal and often ongoing process
- it’s okay not to have everything figured out
- your identity might be fluid and that’s valid too
- you deserve community and support, wherever you’re at
