University of Bath
Applications for the 2020/21 Sanctuary Scholarships have now closed. Information on the 2021/22 scheme will be updated here in early 2021.
Selection will be based on the information submitted in your scholarship application and other contextual information, as provided in your application to study at Bath.
The selection panel will select applicants on behalf of the University, those deemed to be in greatest need will be selected in their discretion. The panel will take into consideration:
- barriers to accessing education
- personal & financial circumstances
- reasons for study
- ambitions for the future
- how you will contribute to the University community
This is a competitive process and only two applicants will be successful.
A panel of senior staff from the University and Students’ Union will select the successful scholarship awardees. The decision of the panel will be final.
We aim to inform all applicants of the outcome of their scholarship application by the end of July.
